Every engagement begins with a Power Talk.
In this conversation, we get to know each other and look together at what brings you to me. You do not need to know yet which engagement is right for you.
The Power Talk is not a shortened consultation or a first session. Its purpose is to determine whether this way of working is right for you and which timeframe fits your situation.
I will not recommend a format simply because it is the larger one. If my work is not what you need at this time, I will tell you just as clearly.
The first step is not a buying decision.
It is a conversation about whether we should work together.
When a Power Talk can be useful
A Power Talk may be helpful if you want to look at a current situation with someone outside your system and have not yet decided whether you want to work together.
You are carrying more than is truly yours to carry.
Loyalties, expectations or the need to belong are limiting your room to act more than feels right to you.
You have influence, yet increasingly experience your role or the existing structure as a constraint.
You know things cannot continue as they are, but you do not yet know what next step you can truly stand behind.
What to expect
A protected space:
You do not need to perform or have an answer yet.
An independent perspective:
We look at the situation itself, as well as the roles, loyalties, expectations and power dynamics at work within it.
Honest reflection:
I tell you clearly what I see. Including when I believe my work is not the right path for you at this time.
A clearer understanding:
By the end, you will have a clearer understanding of what is actually at stake and whether there is a sound basis for working together.
The framework
The Power Talk is held via Zoom and lasts 60 minutes.
Please join from a quiet, private place where you will not be disturbed. This conversation is not intended for when you are on the move or between appointments.
My work focuses on women who have influence and carry responsibility.
In selected cases, I also work with men when the issue they bring falls within my field of work.
