PRIVATE ADVISORY
Power has always needed
places beyond its reach.
An independent,
protected space
outside your system.
Why this space matters
The higher a woman rises, the lonelier it can become.
People within your system have roles, interests and loyalties of their own.
They are affected by your decisions, share in the consequences, or see only the part of the situation available to them.
Your personal circle is involved as well. The people close to you worry about you, may be affected by what happens, and have views of their own.
Their feedback can be valuable. It is rarely independent.
That is why you need an independent space outside both your system and your personal circle.
A space where you do not have to meet anyone’s expectations.
Where you do not have to protect, reassure or convince anyone.
Where you can say what you see without also having to consider what it may set in motion within your system.
Here, there is room for what remains unspoken or unseen within your system.
This space is not specialist consulting.
It is not crisis intervention.
It is not an emergency exit.
It is a form of professional care.
So that you, too, have a place in all of this.
Trusted Advisory is a form of professional relationship
Independent
I am not part of your system, nor am I invested in any particular outcome.
This gives me the distance I need to see your situation clearly.
Loyalty to Your Authority
I am not here to validate you or reinforce a preferred point of view.
My loyalty is to your capacity to see the whole situation and form your own judgement.
Unfiltered Reflection
I keep external power dynamics and inner bonds in view at the same time.
I name what can easily remain unseen within the existing order.
Continuity
Our conversations do not begin again from the beginning each time.
I know the history, recognise recurring patterns and notice shifts while you are in the midst of it.
Female Power Architect describes my work.
Trusted Advisor describes the role I take within it.
Strategic sparring provides the professional framework for our work together.
What Happens in Our Work Together
Our work begins
where your role continues to function outwardly, but you hold back essential parts of your perception, strength or vitality in order to secure belonging or maintain the existing order.
You do not yet need to know what another form might look like. It is enough to recognise that the existing one can no longer hold all of who you are.
External reality
We look at roles, formal and informal power, interests, loyalties, dependencies and consequences.
This makes clear where the real limits are and what room you actually have to act.
Inner architecture
At the same time, we look at the conditioning, rules and bonds that influence what you perceive, what you downplay and whose judgement you ultimately give weight to.
The Architecture of Female Power describes five levels: conditioning and belonging, inner rules, perception, inner authority and lived power.
These levels are not a fixed sequence. They show where particular bonds began and what continues to operate outside your awareness.
How we work
The situation itself determines which level needs attention. Some things become clear through strategic conversation. Others emerge through emotion, bodily awareness, inner imagery or energetic connections.
How you know something is changing
Over the course of our work, the parts of you that have grown quieter under the demands of your role, adaptation and the need to belong begin to have space again.
You notice sooner when you are adapting or holding yourself back. You give more weight to your own perception and judgment. You distinguish more clearly between what is genuinely limiting you from the outside and what you have been carrying out of loyalty or a need to belong. And you say what you previously held back.
External change can take many different forms. What matters is that you live and act with a clearer sense of your own authority.
What comes from this is yours.
Two ways to work together
Three months or six months
Not every woman needs the same length of engagement.
The three-month space offers a clearly defined period of collaboration for working with a current situation over several weeks.
The six-month space is for a woman who knows that the work is not about a single situation, but about the existing form itself.
Both forms of collaboration begin with a → Power Talk.
Private Advisory
Three months
This space is for women who want to work with a clearly defined current situation over several weeks rather than address it in a single conversation.
Over three sessions, we work with what is actually at play in your life and in the responsibilities you carry. We recognise the connections, observe what changes in everyday life, and continue working with what becomes visible.
The focus remains on the question agreed at the beginning. Written exchange between sessions allows you to share important observations and developments without having to wait until our next conversation.
A Single Private Advisory Session
If you would like to explore a clearly defined situation or decision in a single conversation, you can also book an individual Private Advisory Session after the Power Talk.
90 minutes, online via Zoom or in person in Graz
Fee: €650
Final price. No additional VAT will be charged.
The framework
- Three 90-minute sessions within three months
- Online via Zoom or in person in Graz
- Fokussierter schriftlicher Austausch zwischen den Sessions
- English or German
Fee: €1,290
Final price. No additional VAT will be charged.
This three-month engagement can be booked once. If it becomes clear that the work requires more time, it may continue within the six-month engagement.
Beyond the Trellis
Six months
This space is for a woman who knows that she no longer wants to evolve within a form that no longer reflects who she is.
Here, the work goes beyond individual situations. We look at how the existing form continues to shape your life, your role and your relationships. Where familiar patterns of adaptation return. Where your own authority takes up more space. And what happens when this shift has real consequences.
Our continuous work together reveals what can easily remain hidden over a shorter period. I keep sight of the wider context throughout the six months, accompany the developments as they unfold, and remain available between sessions when something significant arises.
The rhythm and intensity of our work reflect your current situation and the level of support you actually need.
The process follows the reality of your life.
Beyond the Trellis is not a programme you complete.
It is a space in which you stop adapting yourself to the existing form.
The framework
- Regular 1:1 sessions over six months, following an individually agreed rhythm
- Ongoing written exchange within the agreed framework
- Your private online space
- Recordings on request, along with individually tailored audio resources and supporting materials
- An intensive day can be included in the agreed framework when it is appropriate for the process
- Access to your private online space throughout our work together and for three months afterwards
- Online via Zoom or in person in Graz
- English or German
Fees start at €8,900.
The exact fee reflects the agreed rhythm, scope and intensity of our work together.
Final price. No additional VAT will be charged.
My Perspective on This Work
My work brings together more than three decades of international leadership experience with many years of work with inner and energetic structures. I know complex systems from firsthand responsibility, and I keep both external power dynamics and internal loyalties in view at the same time.
What stays with you
“Over a period of eighteen months, Renate Hechenberger was a constant point of reference in my work.
What distinguishes her work is her ability to reach the heart of complex situations quickly and bring clarity where it is often missing.
She does not work with predefined approaches, but from an internal structure that provides orientation without oversimplifying.
This way of working together creates a space in which leadership can be recalibrated. Precise, calm and effective.”
„Renate’s presence and work stay with you long after the session ends.”
She combines sharp strategic thinking with a depth that is rarely found — cutting through complexity without losing what matters. Her insights land exactly when they’re needed. And they stay.
Working with her has changed how I lead, how I decide, and how I show up — every day.
Confidentiality is essential
Private Advisory requires a space where a woman can speak openly without having to monitor what may later reach the outside world.
Everything you share with me remains within this space. Your experiences are never shared or used as examples, even anonymously. Nothing that happens here becomes content.
I keep our work clearly separate from your professional and private life, and I do not contact anyone within your system.
Recordings, written records or evaluations are created only at your explicit request. A formal non-disclosure agreement, NDA, can be put in place at any time.
Discretion is not an additional service in this work.
It is the foundation of the relationship.
HOW WE BEGIN
Every engagement begins with a Power Talk.
In this conversation, we get to know each other and look together at what brings you to me. You do not need to know yet which engagement is right for you.
The Power Talk is not a brief consultation or a first session. It allows us to find out whether this form of working together is right for you and which timeframe suits your situation. If my work is not what you need right now, I will tell you just as clearly.
The first step is not a buying decision.
It is a conversation about whether we should work together.
Key Questions
Is Private Advisory coaching or therapy?
Private Advisory is neither a standardised coaching programme nor a form of psychotherapy.
The work combines strategic sparring, a systemic perspective and precise attention to internal and energetic dynamics. Which level we include depends on what your actual situation requires.
Private Advisory is not a substitute for medical, psychological or psychotherapeutic treatment.
How soon can we begin working together?
Appointments for a Power Talk are usually available within the next seven to ten days. You can view the available times directly when booking.
The three-month Private Advisory can usually begin shortly after the Power Talk. For Beyond the Trellis, we agree on a starting date individually, based on current availability and the timing that makes most sense for you. In most cases, it is possible to begin within two to three weeks.
If you are working within a particularly narrow timeframe and cannot find a suitable appointment, please send me a short email. I will then see whether an earlier time can be made available.
What does written exchange between sessions mean?
Between sessions, you can share significant observations, questions or developments with me in writing.
This exchange helps us keep important developments within the wider context without requiring you to wait until our next session. It does not replace an additional session and is not intended as an ongoing message conversation.
I respond personally within the agreed parameters of our work.
How does payment work?
The fee for the three-month Private Advisory engagement is €1,290 and is payable before the engagement begins.
The fee for Beyond the Trellis is €7,900 when paid in full.
Alternatively, you may pay in six monthly instalments of €1,350. The first instalment is due before the engagement begins.
All amounts quoted are final prices. No additional VAT will be charged.
Do I need to come to Graz for the session?
No. Both engagements can take place entirely online via Zoom.
In-person sessions in Graz are also available. Where it serves the work, an in-person session may include a systemic constellation.
Whether we work online or in person, the quality and depth of the work remain the same.
A First Step
The free e-book Wenn niemand Ihnen die Entscheidung abnehmen kann (When No One Can Make the Decision for You) shows which loyalties, expectations, questions of belonging and personal consequences are at play in a difficult decision.
A clear framework for recognising what is actually shaping your decision.
The e-book is available in German only. You can read it online and download the PDF from there.
